connection failed

    hello all, i run outlook express 6 and as a bt.com customer can pop my mail via outlook express. Normally all runs well except for the following error i get every now and then

    The connection to the server has failed. Account: 'keith', Server: 'mail.btinternet.com', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 10061, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E

    is there anything i can do to keep outlook connecting better?

    Have you contacted your ISP to see if they are down at the same time?

    Does it correct itself in a short period? If so, any idea how it corrects itself?

    Are you on a wireless connection?
    When this happens do you have access to the Internet via IE?

    when this happens i do still have access to the internet etc.it does correct itself yes, as today all is working but anouther day it may not
