PCTurboPro Question

I have a new computer. Vista. I keep getting a window that pops up now and then that is from Internet Explorer that says I need to optimize my PC and I should download TurboPro. It's says it's recommended. I went to the site and figured I would go ahead and download it. It sounded safe. Then my McAfee Site Advisor pops up and says that this site is prone to having spyware and stuff like that. I decided not to download the program. Do I really need it? Where did this popup come from? Can I delete it from coming back? I need a little input here.

Since you have been getting a pop-up window suggesting you download PC Turbo Pro, I suggest you take steps to be certain you do not already have malware in your computer.

EDIT: BTW, now that you're a Windows Vista devotee, you might want to change your signature to reflect that.

 

OH WOW! Glad I came here! Thanks for the tips. As well as the signature one. LOL. Totally forgot about that. I have SpyBot Search & Destroy and will run that now along with my McAfee again. THANKS AGAIN SO MUCH!
