rajandraj - Welcome to the Board :)

Your dump log is incomplete - plese re-analyse your dump file using our Dump Data Collection Tool .....

    http://www.windowsbbs.com/showthread.php?t=33471

and be sure to be connected to the Internet while running the Debug Wizard.

It would be helpful - essential - if you posted the conditions under which the computer crashed, i.e. what were you running at the time.

Look in C:\Windows for 081607-01.dmp where the numerical string is the date of the dump or simply search for *.dmp.

I have no idea why the log is truncated, but check that the computer is set up to make dumps (there must be a pagefile on C:\ to record dumps)....

Right click My Computer > Properties > Advanced > Startup & Recovery > Settings button.

Uncheck 'Automatically restart on System failure' if checked and select 'Kernel memory dump' from the dropdown list below. The dumpfile location should be the default
%SystemRoot%\Memory.dmp and 'Overwite any existing file' should be checked.

As I posted before it would be helpful to know what you were doing on the computer when it crashed - is this a one off , regular or random crash?

Your dump is user.dmp and not the minidump. Usually Drwatson formats the dump and append to drwtsn.32.log.

    C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\DrWatson\drwtsn32.log (XP)
