Can not Display Desktop Icons

    All of my Desktop icons & Task bar have disappeared. All I show is the wallpaper. I right click on the desktop, but nothing happens. I can do a "Ctrl+Alt+Del" and to to my Task Mgr. From there I can do a "Run" command & see my desktop in the pop up window and open a program from there, but I can not get anything on my desktop. Any help would be appreciated. Running XP Pro, SP2.
