    Hi sohamboy and welcome,

Right click on your CD-RW drive (burner) and select "properties. "

Click on the "Recording" tab and tag the box labeled "Enable CD recording on this drive." Then click "Apply. "

That should put the drive back on your Send To menu.

Try unchecking that box and clicking apply and then recheck it and apply again. Reboot just in case although it shouldn't be required.

If that doesn't work, uninstall the drive by right clicking it in Device manager and choosing Uninstall and then on the Device Manager Toolbar click "Action" > "Scan For Hardware Changes" and let the system detect and reinstall it.

Are you able to use the drive to burn disks by using some 3rd party software? Does it recognize disk data when you put a recorded CD in it? Did Device Manager say the drive was OK?

It acts as if the drive is not a burner but a mere player. Running sfc /scannow might do some good.

Navigate to C:\Documents and Settings\*yourusername*\SendTo (SendTo is a hidden folder) and right click>New>Shortcut to create a link to the drive.
