Hello, I'm sorry push my post to here:,

    Why "wordpad.exe" is not windows\system32 ?

    and what mean this
    'open file
    "C:\Program Files\Windows NT\Accessories\WORDPAD.EXE" "%1 "
    'print
    "C:\Program Files\Windows NT\Accessories\WORDPAD.EXE" /p "%1 "
    'print to
    "C:\Program Files\Windows NT\Accessories\WORDPAD.EXE" /pt "%1" "%2" "%3" "%4 "

but I do not understand how to use it. any example please!

Next: In Start > Programs > Accessories > Wordpad

    File > Page Setup >

    Orientation > [ ] Portrait [ ] Landscape

    Margins(millimeters) Left 31.8 Right 31.8 Top 25.4 Bottom 25.4

If need changed that setting and value, can goto REGEDIT to changed ?

or this setting/value is save one .ini file ?

Probably because it is called write.exe. Wordpad was originally called write and still is. wordpad is just and alternative name, or synonym. It answers to both names, a fact you can verify by trying each in a run window.

The commands you quote are for batch files. Click in the underlined to see more, with examples.

No. Change it in that window.

Here are some references for what you're trying to do (learn batch or script progeramming).

There's too much to cover in a forum.

I don't think you can make a public computer remember any settings, once you log off, at least not for very long. Nor should you try.

Thanks, because now if use that public computer,
first step is Run > wordpad
and goto page seting setting all correct value,
    and closed wordpad.

because doing this that wordpad is save my new value.

Next: doing batch printer... is oke! no problem

But every-day doing "open ... changed setting ... closed" is very dull method.

If found what .INI or REGEDIT key , I can easy to use VisualBasic to doing this seting (Rewrite .INI ; Edit Regkey()) First.

Can you help me again. Please!

win.ini is a system file inherited from win98 and earlier versions. It probably is not used by XP. However, don't edit any system files right now; wait until you're more knowledgeable.
