To clarify - which server are you referring to - is this an online game or is your computer on a network?

Does your computer restart after 10 minutes or so if you are not on the game server and are doing other things like surfing?

First we need to stop your computer restarting automatically on a system failure so that the error message(s) can be seen.

Right click My Computer icon > Properties > Advanced tab > Startup and Recovery > Settings button and uncheck 'Automatically restart'. While there select Kernel memory dump from the Write debugging information dropdown box and OK your way out.

The next time your computer stops you will see a blue screen on which will be an error message which you should note down and post here.

We will get to the analysis of the dump data later.

the game is on the on the internet. when you sign in you have to choose a server to play in. if i'm not playing the game it won't restart.

Ok - set up your computer as I indicated above so that it does not restart on system failure and see if you get a BSOD (Blue Screen of Death).

If you do not - as soon as you have restarted the computer - or it restarts on it's own right click on My Computer icon > Manage > Event Viewer - System and Applications. Look for events flagged red as an Error at the time the computer restarted or BSOD'd. Double click on the message to open and on the icon below the up/down arrows to copy to clipboard and paste here.

Sarge has identified the game in question as "darkorbit ".

I'm posting this detail in case it turns out to be helpful in our quest for a solution or other people with the same or similar issue run across this thread. :)

Have you disabled 'automatically restart on system failure'? - it is most important that we are clear on this before I put forward some other thoughts.
