Nothing really happened except it took me to an add site

 

If I had a dollar for every time that happened.....

What the malware guys do is make the site 'dormant' from time to time to allow all the new exposure related to the malware to die down, then activate again at a later date. Heck, sometimes they activate every other hour to confuse researchers

And many sites while they appear innocuous at times, seemingly doing 'nothing', will after a few minutes begin to download things or after a refresh.

All these little ploys are designed to try and not get discovered so quickly.

Best to just stay away from these sites, unless you don't mind reformatting and\or have a throw away boxes to play with.

Just be sure you don't get all cocky now, when you let your guard down that's when you're gonna get hit. Even I have a tendency to get lax, but then again, when I'm not sure about something, I can just use my test box and have no fear.
