I may have asked this before but how do I upgrade No Script? How do I uninstall the version I have?
There is a program called "noscriptservice.js" located in the Seamonkey/components folder. Do I simply delte this to get rid of it and install a newer version?

    ackerberg,

    From the FAQ:

    # If you're using Mozilla or SeaMonkey, there's no "official" mean to uninstall an extension, because there's no Extension Manager.

However, you can still use the ExtensionManager Extension (funny, ah?) that should do the trick.

    # Finally, if you installed NoScript into Netscape 7.x, well you're in trouble. Netscape 7.x is not a supported browser for NoScript.

    ExtensionManager Extension

This is very confusing. The file you are pointing to is called
"extuninstall.xpi" and earlier today I downloaded one called
"extuninstaller.xpi" which is a slightly larger file but written by a different person. The one you pointed me to was written in June 2004 and I wonder if it will still work with all of the advances in the browser programs?

    Ackerberg,

I would use the newest extension. Can you give me the link to the extension you found, please, as I would like to make note of the site...

    Thanks!

I don't know a thing about the addon which you listed. If it is a "manager ", it is not obvious that it is an uninstaller. The ones we mention do their job.
