This morning I started having some strange things occur:
    1. Can't copy to sent folder
    2. Can't move items from inbox to sent folder (bcc myself, so I would have copy while trying to get items tested)
    3. Items from 11/24/06 appear in junk mail. (82 to be exact, 81 with messages, 1 with - - ---) I delete them and they either go to trash or to a nstmp or nstmp-1 folder. I delete, empty trash and try to compact folders.
    4. I have tried compacting folders
    5. I have deleted all .msf files from harddrive and from recycle

I compact folders at least once a week. My inbox has 7 items in it. I empty trash daily. Sometimes my junk mail filters work , but many times they just appear marked as junk in inbox and I delete them.

I want/ Need to be able to save sent emails. Any ideas?

    Also

When I delete from Junk and close netscape and reopen they are back in the junk file, even if I have deleted them and emptied trash.

Please any help would be appreciated.

    pdg,

Try all the workarounds included in this Netscape Solutions page, then get back to us with your results. This is a bug in Netscape.

    Thank you Ramona

Once again, you have saved the day! It was the deleting sent folders that worked. Now that it is working - should I move the items that I had moved to a new folder called Previously sent back to the sent folder?

Thanks again and have a nice day.

    pdg,

Glad to hear that all is well! You can move the messages from the temporary folder back to the Sent folder.

I would use the "Copy" feature to move the messages to the Sent folder, rather than use the "Move" option. Once you see that the messages are available in the Sent folder, then you can delete the temporary folder.
