    Hello,

Quick question ... whenever I shut down my office computer I get a message "base2panelForm" and the computer hangs while this application (?) closes. Anyone familiar with this message?
I recently purchased a HP 7310 all-in-one with scanning ability. Do you suppose this could be the culprit?
Anyone's help or advice would be most welcome.

    Thanks

Did the problem start right after you got the new printer?

No, not initially. I've uninstalled and reloaded the HP software, downloaded HP's updates, but I'm not 100% sure the printer is the cause, i.e., I'm guessing.

Did you make any other changes to the pc prior to this starting?

Base2 "can" refer to eithernet adaptors.

None that I can remember. I did a web search of tech message boards and found other folks who are experiencing the same "hang" message during shutdown, so at least I'm not alone. Thanks for the ethernet heads up ... I'll explore that venue
