Am new to Outlook 2007. Used to have OE. I've noticed that when people send me mail with pictures, they only come in as attachments. It's a pain having to open each one just to check them out. OE used to display them in the body of the mail. Is there an option in Outlook to fix this? I can't seem to find it! Must be blind! It's not just from one contact, but different ones.

    HELP!

    :)

The person sending the mail has two options.
    1) Inserting the pic in the body of the mail
    2) Sending it as an attachment

What happens if you send yourself an email with the pic insterted?

I know how that works. It just seems strange that when I was using OE I would see the attachments in the body of the mail, as well as an attachment. I have my mail set up for HTML. I guess I need to ask the sender what format he's using. I sent a pic to myself as an attachment and that's what it was. Nothing in the body. Then I changed my settings as Rich Text. Sent the pic. Still came in only as an attachment. Interesting.

    Thanks for the info, though.

And if you "insert" the pic in the body of the mail you send yourself does it get delivered in the body?

Yes, it does. It also went into my junkmail box. I need to work on that, too.
