From my searches, pwrmonit.dll appears to be for power monitoring on an IBM laptop, prosetGUIMgr resorse dll an Intel (driver) file.

See if there are IBM and Intel programs listed in Add/Remove Programs and uninstall them. They should be included on the driver and software CDs that came with the computer so you can reinstall them.

The Intel file may have been installed by Windows. You might need to run System File Checker in that case.

These 2 are why I suggest to post a HJT log. unqfxtak.dll is not showing any hits in Google, and "**** notify" also suggests the system is infected with something.

You are running very close to the edge by not having a Windows disk. If things go pear-shaped you may need one. It may be possible that the system/setup files are on a hidden partition on the HDD. Look up the model of the laptop at the manufacturer's website. Find out how Windows is installed (how to reinstall). If you have a driver or software disk that came with it, there may be information on that/those or if there is manufacturer information in Help and Support. The drivers and software that I mentioned may be available for download at the manufacturer's website.

If it uses a "Recovery Disk" and not a Windows disk, I don't know if it is possible to run System File Checker. The procedure is to go to Start -> Run, type and enter
    sfc /scannow
