Resolution changing issues

    We have a Dell with an Intel mobo and video card. Recently when ever you access anything in the control panel (user accounts, system properties, etc) The screen changes size to 800X600 and low color depth. When i close the window i opened it changes back. Any ideas on how to fix this. I have never seen anything like it

    I would start by reloading the video drivers if you have not already.

    I tried that before i posted this and still the problem persists. Very strange.

    So if I read it right, you are using an onboard video card? If so, try reloading the mobo/chipset drivers. Do you have an add-on card you can try as well?

    I will try to reload the chipset drivers, The add-on card will be my next step.
