IE6 - Autocomplete not functioning

My autocomplete function in IE6 SP1 has stopped working. I have checked Tools>Internet Options>Content Tab>Autocomplete and the "Forms" box is checked. Also under the Advanced Tab both "Use inline autocomplete....." lines are checked. This started about two days ago when I had an issue with the internet connection being dropped (dial-up) and my ISP had me change some IE settings. (Under advanced, reset to default, under Privacy set to Medium High and under Security, reset to default..) Have since reset privacy to medium and left the others alone as they were at default before the change.

Also have tried a repair of IE, but no joy.

Is there a setting I am missing somewhere?

 

Problem Fixed

Thanks for the link altho' that did not fix the problem. My registry did not have the key listed in the fix. However, I ran scanreg /restore and restored a registry from before the problem occured and that cured the autocomplete. I think your suggestion that the autocomplete history is corrupt was correct. I just fixed it in a different way.

Now I have to check to see what the scanreg /restore changed from the current day's registry.
