    Hi ,

Within a JSP, I am reading a socket connection an displaying the text line by line on browser at real time. As the contents gets more, scroll bar is visible, but by default it always go to the top as and when the info is getting loaded on Browsr screen..

If I need to bringin the scrolling action such that the user is able to view the contents that is being displayed last, how can I do it?
The browser that I have to use is NEtscape 6.2

    thanks,
    sunita

    Hi sunita,

This is a Netscape users message board .... your question *seems* to be about programming. Maybe someone here has a clue but I don't ;)

If you don't get an answer here, you could try searching at http://groups.google.com for newsgroups posts on "Netscape JSP scrolling" or similar keywords. At least, that way you would find newsgroups that are appropriate for your concerns, for example:
    comp.lang.java.programmer
    comp.lang.javascript

You could also look through the available newsgroups on the secnews.netscape.com secure server (port 563)

Short answer: No, you can't programme it.

Well, you can control the scroll bar's visiblity through signed scripts. However end-users still have rights to reject your alternation on their browsers.
