How to have an application opens on windows startup

    Hello,

    Pls advise about how to have an application opens when windows starts up.

    Hi Joe,

    There are several ways to do that so here's one:

    Open 'My Computer" or Windows Explorer and locate the executable file for the program you want to start when booting. Right-click on that executable file and select Send To > Desktop As shortcut.

    Close the screen and return to your Desktop and locate the newly created Shortcut. Right-click on it and choose CUT.

    Then click on:
    Start > Run > (type or copy & paste the following) %userprofile%\Start Menu\Programs\Startup (press enter)

    Right-click the open area on the right side screen pane and select PASTE.

    That should cause the program to start up when you next boot the system.
