WordPerfect 6.1 (win) - HP Colour Laserjet 3700 Printer Driver

HP ColourLaserjet 3700 as network default printer causes my wife's WordPerfect 6.1 for Windows to crash - every time. I know, I know... Don't ask. But does anyone know of a way of getting this old workhorse of a program, designed for Windows 3.1, but still happily working in Windows XP, to work with a modern printer driver like this?

 

I now get the Mrs to import her document into WP 12 before printing it. But working just within WP61 you get:

WP61 caused a general protection fault in SHWINB20.dll at 0008:0E3A

This happens, without fail, as soon as the printer is selected in the WP selection box and before hitting Print
