    Hi,

When taking a screenshot, is there a way to paste it as a JPG instead of a BMP?

I know this one, but it's to expensive in time. Is there any software that enable copy-paste screenshot in JPG?

What I mean is that in the context menu, when I want to paste an image, it would paste a jpg and not a bitmap.

There was a software called ImageExpert 2000 that used to do exactcly that, but they didn't do an update for XP.

Where are you copying and pasting From and To?

Technically, when you copy, it's not in any paticular format...

Mostly in Filemaker. In the context menu I usually get "Paste Bitmap" or "Paste JPG ". But I also use copy-paste in Word.

    FROM: ScreenShot
    TO: Filemaker or Word.

I will add that I use a freebie called Printkey2000.

It will allow you to define the default format to be saved. It's an excellent freeware that has been around long enough to have proven itself. I especially like the user configurable hotkeys it offers.

We already use Winsnap, which does the same, but the problem remain the same. When I do a paste in Word or Filemaker, it pastes a bitmap image not a jpg.

If you execute clipbrd.exe, you will understand I say.

    Gadwin Printscreen will do it.

    http://www.gadwin.com/printscreen/

Version 4.1 is freeware ..... oops, link shows it as 4.1 but it's 4.2 Open the app from the All programs menu, then configure it.
