Taskbar and icons take too much time to appear

    Hello,

    When I start my pc, destop background appears but Taskbar and icons take too much time to appear.

    Pls advise.

    Hi,

    There are numerous reasons why this happens.The Taskbar and icons are loaded by explorer.exe
    First thing I would do is open TaskManager as soon as you see the Desktop
    and check what's eating CPU and Memory.

    Some general tips:Clean your browser's temp internet files,
    see if you have an indexing service running.
    Check how many programs or services are starting up or are running.
    AV or Anti Malware scanners or automatic defraggers can hang things up as well.

    A simple tool to check what's on startup, is Startup CPL by Mike Lin

    On that site you'll also find Startup Monitor which tells you when a program
    requests to be added on startup.
