Windows Installer looking for PROPLUS.MSI when opening Outlook

    Hello folks. Does anyone know how I stop the windows installer for PROPLUS.MSI. It appears on my screen when I open outlook and file it's looking for does not exist on my computer. I am usiong EX home with office 2003.

    You could try this fix from Kelly Theriot.

    It's a .reg file so download it and run it and allow the data to merge with your Registry, ignoring any warnings. The file is safe.

    OK, then take a look at this MS Installer Cleanup Utility and see if it can help. Generally it can clean up files left over from a failed install or uninstall that are still making calls upon the system. Run it on any program that you see in its listing that you are sure you have previously uninstalled and no longer want - leave all others alone.
