Not quite sure why it does this, but any time I dl an addon to a game (currently installed some of the dl'able content for Oblivion (one official ones)) the game seems to copy itself in the add/remove list and now i have 7 copies of oblivion all at 5.48gb's in the list. My drive space has significantly gone down as well. went from 80/35 gb's left after installing these. Anyone know how to fix this?

Have to ask the obvious question - have you tried removing the earlier installations?

I would do that - it looks like the installer has lost it's way. Worth running Windows Installer Cleanup Utility first and look for multiple references to Oblivion.

No references at all to oblivion in the cleaner, when I uninstall the addon it removes it from the game folder itself... I'll try to uninstall and patch it to full before i do the addons next time.

after a clean install I patched first instead of patching after the updates and the drive is normal size now. They're still listed as multiple installs @ 5.48gb each in the add/remove program list but i guess as long as my drive is correct I'm happy :)

Something strange there, but if you're happy and have reclaimed the drive space, then .... :)

    Thanks for the update.
