    Good move! ;)

    1 thing left. If you're satisfied that everything is working as it should, you need to clear the restore points and create a new one.

    Right click My Computer and select properties. Click the System Restore tab, then check the box to turn off System Restore. Click OK. Now re-open and uncheck the box, then click OK.

    Verify a restore point was created;
    Start>All Programs>AccessoriesSystem Tools>System Restore. Check the box 'Restore my computer to an earlier time' and click next. There should be a System Checkpoint available from just a few minutes prior. If so, click Cancel to exit. If no restore point available, click back and select 'Create a restore point' and click next. Follow the prompts.

    Happy surfing!

    Bubba,

    I've been biting my tongue about suggesting you uninstall LimeWire. I'm glad you did! I often tell my friends and acquaintances that P2P file sharing is dangerous.

    I suspect your decision to uninstall LimeWire was difficult to make.

    After you apply Dave's most recent suggestion above, please PM your snail-mail address to me and I'll send you a 5-gallon pail full of dead fish. ;)

    arf! arf! :D

    I feel like a pail of dead fish about now, I'm changing the faucets in our upstairs shower and sink and am having a fit. I've done this before in other showers etc but working on them it seems to be going similar to the way of the shadetree mechanic.:D
