Can the OE ver 2 .3 on major geek site work with the most current version of O.E 6 XP SP2 ? The person I'm trying to help has no word or works. She does have a free open office I believe it's called.

Yes it will work. I put it on a friends PC just before he moved and it worked.

    You are quite welcome.
Call or e-mail her and have her do it. Also do the IE Spell Checker.

She is a newbie so it is painful to try and do it with email or even a call. I think remote assistance might be faster.
