Unable to copy a Windows Media playlist to CD-R drive in XP.

The example playlist shows 14 items with a total time of 57 minutes. The blank shows 80 mins capacity.

When instructed to copy to cd the items are "converted" ok and then copy commences starting with the top of the list. After about two seconds the top item reads as completed and then all the other items are shown as "Will Not Fit ".

Any suggestions as to why this 57 minute list will not copy?

The burner is ok because Nero can copy cd's ok

    Regards

    Hi Tim Walls
Admittedly, I've not got a clue in the world about this one. But I did find a page on Media player that will make just about anyone's eyes roll back in their head. :D You can perhaps sift through this?

    Thanks Daizy

My little conundrum does not seem to feature in the listings.

Many thanks for the suggestion though.

    Regards

    Tim...I'll take a shot.

Media Player/Tools/Options/CD Audio Tab. Uncheck "Enable personal Rights Management "

This is the total of my knowledge.
