I have a keyboard on a notebook that is acting very strange. Some of the keys act according to what you'd expect. Some don't. If I type a "d" then whatever windows are on the screen collapse (minimize).Hitting the key again causes them to come back on the desktop. If I hit the "e" key then the window labelled "My Computer" pops up. There are a few others like this. Its acting like the some of the keys are mapped to commands or are shortcuts. I have reinstalled the drivers, run spy and ad aware programs and there are no problems that they have reported. It even happens when I use the on screen keyboard.
Any ideas other than a reinstall of the XP system?

    • Windows Logo+E: Windows Explorer
    • Windows Logo+D: Minimizes all open windows and displays the desktop

are the two shortcuts you seem to be experiencing. could your windows key be stuck?
