    I'm getting lazy :)

Can anyone point me to a (preferably nVidia) graphics card which supports the use of different monitor calibration profiles on each of 2 flat screen monitors. My current nVidia 6600 card does not have this facility - the same profile is applied to both monitors.

I'm pretty sure the 6600 does support that. What OS are you running. If i remember right back when I ran 2 screens I had to make two separate hardware profiles somehow... I'll post again if i can find the link.

XP SP2 - and the profiles must run concurrently on each monitor. I ferreted through the nVidia software today and could not find a way of using separate profiles.

7800 GT would work using the color correction tab in Nvidia options... Import the .icm file of each monitor and change.

    Hi Pete,
I expect it will be under Custom Colour Settings in the nVidia control panel. Mine say "Empty" for both monitors (6600GT). How to add custom colour settings I will see if I can find out.

    Hi Matt

Think I've 'been there' and the second profile didn't hold - I'll check again.

Hopefully your nVidia control panel is the same as mine.

I downloaded the files, installed them in the Windows colour profiles.

In the nVidia control panel I selected nView Display Settings. You need to make the settings using Dualview. Here you highlight the monitor you want to work on. Right-click on the image of the screen, select Color Correction, on the lower left there is Color Profile and next to it is Import. Import the colour profile, click apply.
Go back to nView Display Settings and select the secondary monitor, right-click...etc.

The colour profiles on my screens are awful, I'm sticking with standard :D I've lost my System Tray icon as well.

I've learn some things though. I want to get my 21" working in digital.

Thanks for that - I'm struggling to rid this computer of the last shreds of Vista and it's like banging my head against a wall :) I'll look in detail when I can, but I know I do not have the latest nVidia suite installed as I did not care for it :)

Mine will probably be original (CD version), I don't update drivers if the system is running well, especially graphics drivers, which can have problems if you install drivers several years younger than the hardware.

I had a little problem getting those profiles to stick, unless I did the right-click on the image of the screens in nView Display Settings. You might find the screens black out a second or two at logon while they are loaded.

I've managed to get my Vista settled down, but it is nowhere near "perfect ". I'm using a few free third party programs to fill in the gaps which are proving indispensable. I have Vista on my latest computer, XP on another and 98 on another. I still need some updated drivers for Vista which needs a reboot every so often
