Windows Vista Vista And diablo II

    I tried playing Diablo II put it is not compatible with Vista Any help?

    Have you visited the Diablo website to find info on Vista compatibility or updates. There must be a Diablo forum where I'm sure Vista compatibility will be a hot topic.

    You should (if you haven't already) download DirectX 9.0c and install it on Vista. Vista only ships with DirectX 10. Most games will require DirectX 9 to be installed. DirectX 9 & 10 will both run side by side on Vista.

    Like XP when it was first released, Vista game compatibility will be a while coming for some games.

    For what it's worth, I've played D2 and it's expansion just fine on vista. Have you updated it via bnet?
