Whenever my friend opens his latest version of Firefox, he is getting Orbitz pop-under window (hidden behind main browser window).
It has a title bar "http://www.cnn.com - Orbitz - Mozilla Firefox ", and a window itself is blank.
    He has pop-up blocker enabled.
    Any thoughts?

    Broni,

Those web sites are getting too smart, as I too got the pop under, even though I have disabled popups.

I checked my Tools | Options | Content | - popup settings, and cnn.com was on my "Exceptions" list. Once I removed cnn.com from the list, I went back to the CNN site, and voilà, no pop under!

So suggest that your friend check that setting, to ensure that CNN is not included in the "Exceptions" list.

Firefox is very good about catching the ads, and if one gets by, like this one, you can usually find user error...;)
