    Hello,

I've bought a new hard drive recently,so I've been putting everything on. I've tried to install 2 games though and both have the same problem... They both install ok, and you can run them, but on the main menu inside the game there are no options to pick, basically no text shows! Music keeps playing, and pictures are moving like the background cars are moving, but it just appears to be the text. On Panzers Phase One game, cars move, but the background is white when I assume it should be scenary (i.e. the cars are driving along white). Other scenary does show though like some buildings and trees

I've got the latest drivers from Nvidia for my graphics card, and my DirectX version seems to be up to date (DIrectX 9.0c). I've tried reinstalling the graphics driver but to no avail. The games in question are Command and Conquer 3 and Panzers Phase One. They used to work on my other hard work so my graphics card (Geforece 6600GT) is definately ok for them.

I'm not too sure what else to try. Please help :)

Run a check on it ....

Start > Run > type dxdiag > OK - a diagnosis dialogue opens.

    The version says 9.0c (4.09.0000.0904)

I've ran all the display tests and they all passed, aswell as the sound test

    EDIT:

I've just been through the VIA website and I found an updated chipset driver. I've installed it and it works now :) Thanks!
