    Hi folks,
A while ago, during setting up a new system, I made a second partition for a good, clean windowsxp pro and a game. I had several driver probs before so i wanted to find the bad one. It worked. I found out that my onboard sounddriver was the wrong one who supposedly caused all the trouble I had.
The Problem dissappeared, the problem were BlueScreens all of a sudden in the middle of a game. Just a blank blue screen. No error messages or anything. It seemed to be solved but lately the BSOD appears again.
I disabled onboard sound and deinstalled the drivers and bought a brand new soundblaster which works nice, but still just during games every now and then a Blue Screen comes along.
Windows stores the information in the minidumps and now after quite alot of guessing what it could be, I thought, why not ask someone who knows something about that dump-stuff :)
Here are three debugged mini-dumps for you. Please take a look at it and tell me what exactly could cause something this nasty :)

    System:
ASRock A7S8X Rev. 3.0 (latest available BIOS)
1024 MB Ram (2x 512 totally identical Chips - just another man. Date)
    AMD Sempron 2600+
ATI Radeon 9500 pro (128 MB) 7.2 Catalyst (not the latest, I know)
    Soundblaster Audigy SE
    Windows XP Pro SP1
    Latest available chipsetdriver - check

For some time, it worked without a crash, just a couple of weeks ago, without changing the system the problem reappeared.
I am total noob on debugged dumps at all, so please explain to me how you come to your conclusions, i'd like to understand.

Me by looking at it notice 1 thing - They have different error messages which means 3 different causes for a problem which stays the same.

    Thanks for your help

Edit: Oh by the way: I ran 3D Mark to test the Graphiccard - passed without problems and I ran Prime95 TortureTest for 32hrs without any error or warning. And heat doesnt seem to be a problem I logged it during playing games while it crashed-> all normal.

    KERNEL_MODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED_M (1000008e)
This is a very common bugcheck. Usually the exception address pinpoints
the driver/function that caused the problem. Always note this address
as well as the link date of the driver/image that contains this address.
Some common problems are exception code 0x80000003. This means a hard
coded breakpoint or assertion was hit, but this system was booted
/NODEBUG. This is not supposed to happen as developers should never have
hardcoded breakpoints in retail code, but ...
If this happens, make sure a debugger gets connected, and the
system is booted /DEBUG. This will let us see why this breakpoint is
    happening.
    Arguments:
Arg1: c0000005, The exception code that was not handled
Arg2: bfaef648, The address that the exception occurred at
    Arg3: b89eba14, Trap Frame
    Arg4: 00000000

Arg2: bfa26f76, The address that the exception occurred at
    Arg3: b873a708, Trap Frame
    Arg4: 00000000

    Debugging Details:

This will let us see why this breakpoint is
    happening.
    Arguments:
Arg1: c000001d, The exception code that was not handled
Arg2: 804ed6af, The address that the exception occurred at
    Arg3: f7c4ee94, Trap Frame
    Arg4: 00000000

    Debugging Details:

Strangely I can now access the dump files on your URL's, but we prefer to have them in the posts anyway - far easier than having to switch windows all the time.

The analysis of dump logs is a complex process and requires expert knowledge, which I most certainly do not have. There is one Board member with that knowledge, but he has not visited for some time.

I can, however, make some observations .....

All three dumps reference Wow.exe - War of the Worlds?

The first two reference Ati drivers and the third large scale memory corruption.

Check out your memory using Windows Memory Diagnostic Tool or memtest

If there is a Wow forum you should look there for known problems with the program.

Uninstall and update/reinstall your video drivers - the latest are not always the best. I do not have much knowledge of ATi as an Nvidia user and prior to that Matrox.

This thread is relevant to your problem ...

BTW cpc2004 is the guy I was talking about above.

    Thx for the reply.

By now, since yesterday I had several crashes in a row, which is worst than ever, I installed new video-drivers, so I ll have to see if that was a source of the problems.

The game i'm playing is World of Warcraft, the thing is I had these crashes also when I was playing Battelfield2, so it doesnt seem to be a software bug, it just happens when playing games in general, which is weird and leads to some conclusions, which might be graphiccard related or power and stress-issues.

But I did stress and graphiccard testings which didnt cause any crash.

The propably easiest thing is to buy a new pc :p :( which i would rather not do at the moment :)

    I hope I can find a solution

The two games you mention are probably written on the same or similar software core, so it would be wrong to eliminate software bugs completely.

As the graphics play a big part in games it would not harm to check out your Directx ....

Start > Run > type dxdiag > OK
