New Dell 9400 coming, want to use old HD from 9200 - Will This Work?

    New Dell 9400 laptop vs. Old 9200 laptop

    I have a new computer coming next week with a faster processor (2.0 vs 1.63) - Faster graphics card etc, with XP Pro installed on a 120g drive.

    Is it possible to just remove the new drive and replace it with my old 40g drive running XP Home, that has all my programs on it?

    Or, just re-install everything from my backup CD's that I made with Speedy Backup, for a less cluttered drive?

    Since the drivers that have been installed in the old notebook are ALL different....No Can do...You might maybe be able to do a repair install of XP but I wouldn't recommend it.
