Format Bar Not always available in OE

    I have OE 6.0 and when I reply to an e-mail the format bar is not always there and is not available in View. Is there anything I can do to get the format bar?

    You need to change the "Format" of the mail from Text to HTML to get the format options.

    I checked under options in OE and the Send tab it is set to HTML for mail sending formats. I am able to see the format bar on most e-mail I reply to but not all. Could it have something to do with where the e-mail came from? Why would one e-mail not have the format and another does have it?

    Emails written in TEXT don't have - can't use the format options.

    You said this happens when you reply...If you're replying to a mail done in TEXT you'll have to change the format.

    I got it. I checked with message open and saw that Format was on text not HTML. Great. Thank you Steve. You guys are such a help.
