Recently every time I put in my 2 GB USB pen in the computer WMP11 starts syncing the device I have checked every where to stop this but in WMP11 the "End Sync Partnership" is greyed out and it can take up to 5 mins, which at times is very annoying as the busy curser is always going.

Does anybody know how I can tell the USB pen to be NEVER synced?
I have also checked the ready boost option thinking it may have been that, but the "never retest this device" is selected.

    Paul,
I'm not in front of Vista at the mo, but have you gone to Sync Centre under Accessories. You might have to right click around a bit to disable syncing?

Thanks for that, I was driving to work yesterday and I suddenly thought of the Sync center (as you do) so last night I had a look, and sure enough there it was syncing away, you are quite correct it is not that straight forward as to how to stop it, but I kept clicking on various options and it has now stopped syncing every time :) I put the USB pen in.
