Not sure if this is the correct forum, if not could you advise me?

I am trying to print a folded booklet (Windows XP, Epsom Stylus DX4800) I have followed the instructions to the "t" but I am unable to get it right. I click on File>page setup>bookfold. (I adjust the margins to my needs.)
On page sertup I click on Paper>size (A4): then click on Layout>section and select Continuous.

When I come to print, page 1 is printed on the right hand side of the A4 leaving the left blank. I believe it should print page 1 on the right and page 12 (last page) on the left

Similarly the printer then goes onto print page 2 & 11 where as I believe it should be 3 & 11, and so on.

I have moved your post to the Other Software forum where it seems it belong on the basis of the info. to date..

Which program are you using to print out the booklet? Publisher?

    Yes, it is MS Word.

I suspect that when formatted to the printer there are only 11 pages total, hence what you are seeing. Has a page 12 printed out?

I shall probably get tied up in knots explaining this, but I will try :) ....

If you have 12 pages ....

    First printed page has p1R & p12L
    Turn paper over .....
    Second printed page has p11R & p2L
    New sheet of paper ....
    Third printed page has p3R & p10L
    Turn over paper ....
    Fourth printed page has p9R & p4L
    New sheet of paper ....
    Fifth printed page has p5R & p8L
    Turn over paper ....
    Sixth printed sheet has p7R & p6L

where p1R means page 1 on right, etc. and you would set the printer to print pages 1 & 12, then 11 & 2 and so on.

If you print on one side of the paper only then you will get 6 sheets with the pages as above and a blank sheet between each printed page.

I have struggled with this in MS Publisher producing the odd catalogue and it is a little more user friendly :)
