    Hi everybody,

Is there any interface (dll, command, tool..) to communicate with a Windows machine remotely? Suppose we want to issue commands silently.

XP Pro comes with RDC - Remote Desktop Connection....

Would help if you gave a specific example of what you're wanting to do.

One of the advantages of windows remote desktop is the one remote desktop program that will do sound as well remotely.
A simple program for remote access is vnc

One free distro is here : http://www.realvnc.com/download.html
If the ip changes ( dsl ,dialup) you may want to tie it in with a service such as no-ip

In Linux for example, there is 'remote shell'. With interface, I mean a non-GUI client that could issue system commands silently...
