Lost email ns 7.2

I could not find a post with my problem. I am running windows 2000. My grandson shut the computer off by unplugging the power. When I went to open netscape 7.2, I found that netscape wanted to start all over again asking for new info. and all my stored email was gone. I have tried to use some of the other post to fix the problem. But I guess I fall into the dummy zone. So I need really great instructions on how to fix thie problem.

Open Netscape Mail & Newsgroups
Click on: Edit | Mail & Newsgroups Accounts Settings | Server Settings
Scroll down to the "Local directory" field
Does the path match your Mail Account folder path on your HD?

If not, click on "Browse" and find the path to the Mail Account folder which was current before the Grandson mishap. The path should be similar to this, if you run Windows XP:

C:\Documents and Settings\user_name\Application Data\Mozilla\Profiles\profile_name\*.slt\Mail\pop.isp.net
