Music Skips

    While running my religios friday night antivirus scan, all of a sudden I noticed that my Windows media player program skipped music and other players too.

    This is the first time it occured, I am not sure if it is related to how many processes I am running or what

    Is anybody else having this problems? it skips more when I am doing stuff with the computer while I am scanning

    See if it stills skips with no other processes running. If it only skips while many processes are running or just when doing an anti-virus scan either kill of some of those processes or stop using your media player while scanning.

    I stopped virus scan, restarted computer and it works fine now

    Who knows why it happened

    Don't be running programs while scanning with your anti-virus program. Wait for it to finish. Find something else to keep you occupied.
