Return Receipt ans SeaMonkey

I went into preferences and selected to have a return receipt. I sent myself an e-mail but do not get a request for a return receipt. Why?

 

I believe that it does not request a receipt if you send it to the same account.
e.g.
If you send from "ackerberg@someplace .com "
to "ackerberg@someplace .com" no RR is displayed.

If you send to another address:
e.g.
send to "another_ackerberg@someplace.com" it will display RR.

In short, must be to another account/address different from the originating account.

give that a try.

You seem to be correct. I did send one to a friend and the return receipt worked.
