After installing VTP, obviously my icons changed to vista icons

When I went to reinstall WMP, my media player icon switched back to xp style

Without uninstalling or reinstalling VTP, how can I change the icon back to vista style??

Warning I have not used this theme pack in ages and probably many older versions ago and have long since uninstalled it but google search suggested
I don't know what it is or where it is but I am just passing along the info.

    Additionally can you
    >right click the wmp icon and
    >select properties
    >Click on "change icon "
    >and browse to where ever vtp may have these icons stored.

Once again I'm sorry for vagueness of post but I can't walk through the process myself.

    ----------
As a sidenote and out of curiousity, how much ram do you have? Asking because of recent post about system bog and lack of program response done in a timely manner. I would think this would be something requiring a good portion of system resources....

    Got pm and here's.....

One way to check for the amount of ram installed:
    >right click on My Computer icon
    >click on Properties
    >Under the General tab, you will find how much RAM the computer has and information on the processor and version of Windows used

    Hi sniper9228,

Got your pm and 768mg ram at least reassures me that your not limping along on 256 or 128. I noticed vtp required at least 256 and even at that many users complained that their system was slowed down considerably. As for the icon issue I'm going to supply you with a link to board that has forums which deal with several versions of vtp. It hasn't been discovered which version your using but a version 6 is available which mentions the fixing of many bugs that previous versions may have had. <-Just thought I'd point that out.

At this point, I'm not sure I'm doing you any favors since your system seems to be running slow recently, but since you seem to wish to use this themer, you may need to become aware and familiar with any issues and facts. You'll have an additional resource you can use to inquire about any personal problems, such as your current "wmp icon quest ". May I suggest you read any faqs the board offers and have a peek into posts from users to see what complaints, issues and experiences other users have had while using vtp.

If you find the fix for the icon please remember to update your post and share the fix you find that works for you. That said here's the link:

------------------And while I have you here-------------
I hope you don't mind that I keep answering your PM's here. While there are a few reasons, the main reason is it is "board custom" or "rule of thumb" to keep all information regarding the original post within that post so all members can "benefit" and "follow the progress ", "both good and bad ", "from the beginning to the end ". It is much easier to see what has been done or tried so those suggestions are not repeated by other members. In addition, this post will be Archived and someone may choose to use it as a reference in the future when of if finding themselves with the same problem or question. It will help another member in the future.
