Is there a certain program that calls for this file. Usually you need the correct version for the program and can download it from the developer.

That file is part of MS Office and is in the O1561415.CAB file. You should be able to extract it using Winzip or Winrar (if you don't have either do a web search for an early version of Winzip (version 8 I think was the last free version). There are several other programs it is part of, if you are not running Office.

    Whiskeyman, the dll Help database:

I put it in my Favourites (Favorites).

Be careful here. This file is part of c++ and is version specific. The dll will come in many versions. Put in the wrong version or overwrite one you may already have and your problem may snowball. While Mattman's idea may get you one, it may not be the version the application sending this error is requiring. As Whiskeyman stated, you really need to find out which application wants it and what version it is expecting.

    Sally,

Write down the name of the missing file.
    Google it.
You will places where for free you can download the dll file along with instructions on where to place it - either system or system32folder in the windows directory.
There will be services that want to sell you a service but there should be plenty of free places where you can find the missing dll to install.
