can't get rid of zlsSetup_70_337_000_en?

it says " either your software is in use or your destination file is in use ". Zonealarm is definitely not in use since I uninstalled it. Not sure what is the destination file. Restarting the computer didn't help; Clearing the registry of all ZA entries did not help either.

Well, the file zlsSetup_70_337_000_en.exe is the update of my current zonealarm. But when I clicked on it it says "not a valid win32 application "; when I tried to remove it, it says " there has been a sharing violation, either the source or destination file is in use ".

So is the doc yoou mentioned still apply?

 

Yes. Follow those directions to completely uninstall Zone Alarm. When finished reboot your computer into Sfae Mode and reinstalll Zone Alarm. I have seen where some people have been having issues with version 7 so you may what to go back to the latest 6.xx version.

I am afraid my question maybe not very clear. So I will try again:

Zonealarm as to update so I download the update. For some unknown reasons I got 4 updaters but 3 of them are imcomplete downloads. I am having trouble to rid of these three.

 

By following the directions you should be able to get rid of all of the installs then reinstall in Safe Mode thereby get rid of the corruption.
