Outlook 0x80042108 and 0x8000ccc0e errors

Getting these errors on Outlook 2000 and 2003 sporadically. I have partial OPMlog file from 2003.. with the error. ISP says it is not them. If someone can see the small part(s) of the file below and make sense as to whether it is the ISP, it would be a great help.

What anti-virus program are you running and do you allow it to scan emails?

 

Sorry should have posted more background... this problem all of a sudden started happening 2 months ago.. first thing i did was disable the Mcafee firewall i had running on the PC's and that seemed to help. Yesterday with the firewall(S) still disabled the error occured again and I got it in the log file i sent with the first post. Does the log file lend any light?.. I only gave the parts of the file where the error happened. We have no email scanning done.

 

I wouldn't suspect the firewall as much as McAfee's feature to check outgoing and incoming emails. Check for mcvsescn.exe to see if it's running in the TaskManager.

Thanks I dont have that process running.. I checked that out already, and just rechecked. I also have previously reviewed the link you sent. The log file should show something.. I see POP3: Finding host then POP3: Disconnected from host... so that means i am getting through to the provider and they are severing the connection?...
