In Firefox I have a Google search field on the end of my address bar. When I use to type in search terms I'd have a drop down list of hints always changing as I continued to define my search words.
Well, it's gone. Doesn't do it anymore. Anybody know where it went?
I don't know if it was am addon I used or weather it is a standard function of FF. I am using Ver 2.0.0.3
    Thanks in advance.

I am not aware of an addon. I, rarely, pay attention to the dropdown, but it is there, for me. However, installation of an unrelated addon may have caused the problem.

Move your cursor to the input field for Google search.
    Right Click.
    See Drop Down menu.
Move cursor to phrase Show Suggestions.
    Left Click.
You should now have "list of hints" options active.

Good idea Dennis, but upon checking it's already selected. I unchecked it and rechecked it to no avail. Any other ideas?

Load via Firefox safe Mode option.
This will eliminate any conflicts with installed addon's.
The features you want are a standard function.
