We have several machines that dial in to our network using standard Windows VPN then connect to a Citrix server.

Each machine has a file that runs at startup that collects data such as anti-virus definition state, computer name etc anfd stores it in a text file in C:

What I would like to do is have the file transferred to our network automatically when the user dials in so I can monitor Anti-virus software updates - don't want a computer I dont have much control over getting out of date.

I can't work out how to automate this process, nothing in the VPN connection for running other batch files at login or anything like that, so if anyone could help me here I would be very grateful

What are you using as the VPN server? It might be easier to do it server side.

We use windows VPN through an ISA server. I looked at doing it server side first but couldn't find a way to get it to work.
