Just a simple question. On a win 9x machine or ME, in order to open system monitor, what is the correct path to access it, please? is it:

    A. start>settings>control panel>system (meaning system monitor?)

    B. start>programs>accessories>system tools>system monitor

    I appreciate any help.

Presumably you have tried both routes and found that only route B gets you to the required destination - as I recall - many moons since I last used Win98.

    Hi

Try Start>Run, type in sysmon and hit Enter, will run it if it's installed on your system

Your route A will give you System Properties (Device Manager etc), like you would get from the My Computer icon

    best wishes, HJ
