I am using Windows XP and have ripped some music from CD's using Media Player. When I put the music in the "My Music" file it just showed the number and track so I renamed the track with the title of the song. However, when I came back to the files the next day it had renamed them back to "track 1 ", "Track 2 ", etc. How can I stop windows explorer from renaming my files?

    Hi Charles,

Yes the site helped. When I saved them in Media Player like they advised it fixed the problem. At least for now!
    Thanks,
    Paul
