Roxio Easy CD Creator Problems

I am trying to make a slide show of pictures of my little cousin. I have Roxio Easy CD Creator 5 as my software. It has with it PhotoRelay which is the program used to make the slideshow. I have a problem when i go to write the slideshow to a CD. I get the following error:

*My only option is OK, so after i choose that i get this error:

This program has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down...same illegal error as always.

You have not said what system you are running it under-but I know they have some problems with Windows XP if you have not run the updates available. My computer for instance with Windows XP would not shut down -this is a Roxio problem for which their is a fix.

I have downloaded and installed all of the applicable updates and there has been no change in the errors. I am running Windows 98SE with a Sony CRX100E burner. This is the first time i am trying to make a slideshow.

 

Anybody have a suggestion?

 

Try this

Roxio / Adaptec somethings just goes fubar on its own.

I would follow the proper removal proceedure for the version you have, also removing Direct CD.

Reboot - then install EZCD without DirectCD - try it now.

If you actually use Direct CD then install it - if you have not used it, then you most like won't, so save yourself a chunk of mem & system resources and leave it off your system.

 

I have unistalled and re-installed it several times and nothing has changed. I still get the same error. This one really has me confused.
