I've installed Vista in a Gateway lap-top M675, and like everyone, I've got issues. My Print Spooler keeps stopping. I have the services set to Enabled & Automatic. However, the spooler constantly stoppe, even in the middle of a print job. The spooler services just stopps. So everytime I get set to print, I have to go into my services & start the spooler.
I've contacted Gateway, of course they suggest I call Microsoft. Any suggestions.

Did you upgrade or was it a clean install? If you upgraded back up any and all important files and do a clean install. Most of the issues are when you upgrade it tries to use parts of the old version of windows. If you don't let by installing a completely fresh copy of windows then it works great.

It was a clean install. It still does it. I keep my "Services" open on my task bar. When I print, I still get the error & I'll re-start the spooler. Sometimes it "stops" in the middle of a print job after 1 or 2 pages.
