    Hi, I bought a new HP pavilion run with Vista Home Premium. Installed Office 2003 in it. when I start, there comes a blue screen! It says;

    IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL, then a long text abt bla bla bla.....

    At the end following info comes;

    Technichal information:

    STOP: 0x0000000A (0x00000000, x0000001B, 0x00000000, 0x81C28928)

    If restart Vista recovery program shows two options; Repair mode and Start Windows normally.

    If I run repair mode, and log in, windows online mode show the problem cause! It says RICOH Camera driver is causing problem. I coudnt find any camera driver other than HP prebundled (even that also not working) Every day am getting 2 or 3 new Windows update informations, which am scred to do! So I disabled automatic windows update.

    In my laptop Eset - NOD32 antivirus is installed, which is certified by MS. And every day NOD32 downloads new patches and upload automatically.

    Now am lost I dont know what's wrong with my notebook. Can any one help me!!!!

    You NEED to enable the updates. Whats happened is HP has packaged an older driver with Vista. Find the website of the manufacturer of the camera and download the driver from them.

    Thnx

    Hi pfogle

    Thnx for the advise, and sorry for the delay in reply.

    Am slowly enabling updates, but it still not giving any response. I contacted HP, they have normal routine Ans., format system.... HP saying I can activate camera through Quickplay. Separately cant activate camera, its a prevailing problem.

    Now I disabled Ricoh driver, now system working pretty good.

    If you get any info "how to activate internal camera "please let me knowâ€. Replay from Ricoh was also discouraging; they asked to contact HP, which is of no USE....

    Regards

    Shibu
